Gnathang Residency is a cozy homestay located at 13000 feet in Nathang Valley in East Sikkim. The homestay is located near the silk route, before Zuluk and after Sherathang when you come from Gangtok. The hospitality of owner Lima Didi and the family is amazing. They take care of all their requirements of food, milk and maggi etc without even iota of hesitation. The homestay offers guests the convieniece of staying around hills filled with snow. Gnathang Residency has around 4 double rooms and a seperate cottage which has four rooms as well. The guests can go for village walks around the place and deifinitely enjoy the snowy surroundings in the winters. get horse back rides and indulge in the mountain culture of Gnathang.
Heater chareges will be extra at Rs 800 per night. Hot water Geysers are there in the rooms. Gnathang Residency is the only homestay in Gnathang with backup power. Guests should wear warm clothing and be ready for the impeccable cold weather and low oxygen levels.

New Jalpaiguri railway station (NJP) will be the nearest railway station from Nathang valley. The distance is about 169 km. To cover the road distance, it would take around 5.5 hours.
By Road
Travelers can hire shared taxis or reserved taxis from both the railway station and airport to reach Gangtok and then you need to change vehicles to reach Nathang valley. The distance of Nathang valley from Nathang valley from Gangtok is 68 km which takes 3 hrs to reach the spot.
