Kutumba Kutir is a very nice homestay in Mirik comprising a big living-dining room, two beautiful bedrooms with balconies and a small modular kitchen. You can either cook the food yourself or order home food at the property. The rooms are mindfully designed and the view from the homestay is breathtaking and unobstructed. Ashish Gurung, who is the homestay host, is a very polite, respectful, professional and caring host. High speed internet is available at the homestay for working in the day and watching movies on the smart TV all through the evening with friends and family. Tasy homemade food with local cuisine makes it more delightful. A working kitchen, books to read, oranges from their backyard all make it better. There are orange orchards around the property and you can enjoy a beautiful sunset while indulging yourself in village walks. The only negative point is the road that leads upto the homestay which can be a little rough.
