Malla Kothi Heritage Homestay

Malla Kothi is a beautiful homestay located about 20 minutes just outside of main Mangan town in North Sikkim. As it's located just outside the hustle bustle of Mangan, it's very calm and serene. On a clear day Mount Kanchendzonga is clearly visible from the property as well as from the rooms. Rooms are big, there are 2 standard rooms and two balcony rooms. Standard rooms can host upto 3 adults in each room easily while balcony rooms can host 2 adults in one rooms. Bathrooms are attached and is clean and spacious. It has a small maintained garden infront of the rooms, families travelling with kids will enjoy this place to the full. The owner, Tshering Thendup is an amazing host. During your stay you will enjoy the Bhutia hospitality to the fullest. Food is home cooked and really delicious.

Activity wise one can spend a whole day just doing nothing and gazing at the mountain range. Birds are plenty, so it's a paradise for bird watchers. For adventures seekers, Tshering can take you to the holy caves located 30 mins walk away. There are monasteries also which one can visit.
