Singtam

Singtam is a town which lies mostly in Gangtok District and partly in Pakyong District in the Indian state of Sikkim about 30 kilometres (19 mi) from the state capital Gangtok. The town lies on the banking of the rivers Teesta and Ranikhola, which join together just below the town.

By Air

The nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport, which is about 124 km away from Singtam (although Pakyong Airport is merely 30 km away from Gangtok, it, however, is not functional all the time because of poor weather conditions which make Bagdogra Airport a better option).

By Train

The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (about 119.4 km away) From the airport and railway station, a person can hire a private taxi, shared taxi, or catch a state-owned/ private bus to Singtam.

By Road

The distance from Siliguri to Singtam by car can be covered in optimal time with the help of cab service. You may take small halts whenever you feel to further add to the comfort of your journey.
