About The Tour

Anini is the headquarters of the Dibang Valley district where the clouds come down to kiss the land. With much of its beauty peeking from behind the misty air, this unexplored town is the place to visit for pristine calmness. It is a small underdeveloped town, mainly because of its remoteness. Yet, it still has basic road and air links to the rest of India.

The Idu Mishmi tribal people constitute a majority here. Most of Anini is located on a miniature plateau between two tributaries of the Dibang river, the Dri river and Mathun river. Anini is marked by pleasant weather and immense natural beauty, making it a tourist’s paradise, appearing from the clouds.

Its silence, beauty and magic is almost untouched and can relax you to the very core.

Day - 1

Dibrugarh Airport to Namsai

Meet & greet on arrival at Dibrugarh Airport and transfer to Namsai. The Land of Enchanting Pagodas and Serenity. In Namsai major tribal population is Khampti and Singpho. The Tai-Khampti are follower of Theravada Buddhism. Evening leisure time at Hotel/Homestay. Driving time is approx. 2.5 hrs, depending on traffic.

Night stay at Namsai.

Day - 2

Namsai Local sightseeing

After Breakfast and Rest, Proceeds for an Exploration around Town.
• Visit Golden pagoda also known as Kongmu kham. The temple has a beautiful jade Buddha and tallest bamboo Buddha statue. The place boasts several grand statues of Buddha.
• After Lunch visiting Pariyati Sasana Buddhist Vihara. This place is a solace to mind and is ideal for meditation and stunning temples as well as interesting structures dot its vast compound.

Night stay at Namsai

Day - 3

Namsai to Wakro

After Breakfast driving toward Wakro. Driving time is approx. 1.5 hrs. Check in Homestay/Hotel. Wakro is home of Mishmi tribe, speaking dialects of the Tibeto-Burman linguistic family.

• After Rest, Proceed for Lord Parshuram Mandir and have a holy dip in the sacred Kund which is believed to wash away one’s sins.

• Local sightseeing around Parshuram Kund.

• At evening, get know about culture and tradition of local people - Mishmi Tribe in our recommend Homestay.

Day - 4

Wakro to Roing

Today we start driving toward Roing. Driving time is approx. 3hrs. check in Homestay/Hotel. It is the last major township at the north-eastern frontier of India. Both Adi and Mishmi (Idu) are the principal indigenous dwellers of Roing. The town is located at the foothill of the Mishmi Hills.

 Visiting Natural sally lake. This lake overlooks the spectacular valley below and it is encompassed by dense green forest.

Day - 5

Roing to Anini

Today after breakfast, driving to Anini approx. 7hrs. Evening leisure time at Hotel/Homestay. Anini is marked by pleasant weather and immense natural beauty. Enroute enjoy beauty of Mishmi Hill and river. At Elevation of 1968 m (6,457 ft). The Idu Mishmi tribal people constitute a majority here.

Day - 6

Anini Local sightseeing- Mathun valley

After breakfast proceeds to Khola camp, where you can explore aerial view of Anini. Later visiting to Mathun valley. It is famous for various unexplored natural lakes and its natural fauna and flora. Exploring around Mathun valley. Its silence, beauty and magic are almost untouched and can relax you to the very core.

Day - 7

Anini Local sightseeing- Dri valley

After breakfast visiting Dri Valley. The Dri valley is also a very beautiful plain unlike the Mathun Valley. River Dri flows which turbulent at the lower region. which is 32kms from Anini, an ideal spot for tourists and picnickers during winter season. ITBP base camp is the last motorable village and after that one can go on foot for trekking.

Day - 8

Anini to Roing

After Breakfast Transfer to Roing. Enroute exploring Mishmi Hills. On arrival, Check into Hotel/Homestay and rest for the day. Evening is leisure time. Overnight Stay at Roing.

Roing to Dibrugarh Airport

Early morning transfer to Dibrugarh airport town. The distance between Roing and Dibrugarh airport is 144km (3hrs). Check into Hotel. Depart for Airport according to flight timing. Best wishes for onward journey.
