About The Tour

Ziro is one of the oldest towns in Arunachal Pradesh, home to the Apatani tribe and famous for its pine hills and rice fields. This beautiful valley is located 1500 metres above sea level. The place has an imposing landscape of beautiful lush green forest, rivulets and elevated patches. It is famous for paddy-cum-pisciculture cultivation. The area is renowned for the terrace paddy fields where the unique system of poly-culture and water management is practiced by the local people. Mainly inhabited by the Apatani tribe, the town wears a festive look during festivals celebrated by the Apatani people.

Donyi Polo Airport to Itanagar

On arrival transfer to Homestay. check in Homestay. if time permit visiting Gompa temple.

Evening is leisure time.

Day - 2

Itanagar to Ziro

After Breakfast visiting Arunachal museum. this museum showcase of culture and tradtion of tribal people. After, proceeds for Ziro- the valley of heaven. Driving time approx. 2.3hrs. check in Homestay. Evening exploring around town.

Travel time: 3.5 hours Itaganar to Ziro valley

Day - 3

Ziro

After breakfast, excursion around Ziro covering the places like Siddheshwar Nath Temple (longest natural shiva Linga of world) and later visiting Kasa resort, exploring botanical garden and you can have lunch in resort and after lunch visiting Sikhe lake (first artificial lake of Arunachal Pradesh). later village walk and exploring ZMF(ziro music festival Ground). Evening at Homestay.

Day - 4

Ziro to Itanagar

After breakfast transfer to itanagar, as per flight timing drop to airport. You can expect some traffic at Itanagar so it is a good idea to leave early.
